Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear on screen in a new avatar, portraying a ruthless mafia character with striking grey hair. The film has been officially titled King.

A teaser for the movie was unveiled on Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday, offering fans a glimpse of an experience they can anticipate. The initial teaser suggests that the film will present action in Hindi cinema in a novel and compelling manner.

Film enthusiasts believe that “King” is not merely an action movie; it is a gripping narrative set in the dark underworld of crime, exploring the dynamics of a guru-disciple relationship. While specific details of the storyline are being closely guarded, Indian media reports indicate that the film revolves around a thrilling plot in which Shah Rukh Khan plays an exceptional assassin and mercenary who takes on the responsibility of training a disciple—none other than his real-life daughter, Suhana Khan. This marks her cinematic debut.

The film is shaping up as a high-stakes gangster thriller, filled with themes of revenge, power, and intense psychological drama.

The teaser has already sent waves of excitement among Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. In a chilling voiceover, he says: “Kitne khoon kiye, yaad nahi. Woh achche log the ya burey, kabhi pucha nahi. Bas unki aankho me yeh ehsaas dekha ki yeh unki aakhri saans hai. Aur mai uski wajah (I don’t remember how many murders I committed. Whether they were good people or bad, I never asked. The teaser showcases Shah Rukh Khan in a striking new look—grey-white hair, a sharp beard, and a rugged, tattooed physique—demonstrating a complete transformation for the action genre. In one sequence, he is seen amidst an unrelenting spree of killings, symbolically wielding a King of Hearts playing card as his weapon.
